Five Years!!

Its hard to believe its been five years since we brought Silas home forever.  FIVE YEARS people.  I love that.  I love that he's known the love of a family longer then he hasn't.  He's an AMAZING kid and we're continuously blessed to be his family.  We get to love this sweet kid and watch him grow and change.

To commemorate this day I bring FIVE things about Silas!

1. Silas announced he wants to be a missionary to Ethiopia when he grows up.  We'll see what God has in store.  I'm humbled to be this kids mom on a daily basis.  Truly.  He'll make an amazing missionary.  Who am I kidding - he'll make an AMAZING anything.  

2. Silas still loves Peanut Butter and Jelly.

3. Silas runs daily and thrives on working out.

4. Silas is the best big brother.  He protects Zahra and fights for her even when she doesn't want to be fought for.

5. Silas informed me today that his big sister Nichol is his Valentine...(but don't tell her he said).....but then remembered he's got lots of Valentines.....and started listing them all....there were many.  Heartbreaker that one.
