Adoption Puzzle....A Walk Down Memory Lane....

I've been meaning to post this for awhile but it just didn't happen.  Remember when we were in the throws of fund raising to bring Zahra home?  You know back when I wrote this post, this post, and  this post......

Well I FINALLY have a picture of the finished puzzle all framed.  While Its not on my wall yet it was quite a feat getting it all finished an in double glass.  Anyone else doing an awesome adoption puzzle....make sure you find one that fits in standard frames so you don't have to make your own frame!

Its amazing to look at all the names of people who helped bring Zahra home.  To walk with us through that journey is such an incredible blessing and honor.  Looking at Zahra I can't believe God allowed me to be her mama.

Look at all of the people who loved us, loved our daughter and believed that God had a plan for our family, enough that they helped unite us.  Its humbling.  Amazing.  A constant reminder that God doesn't need us but He invites us to be apart of His plan for His kids.  Thank you will never be enough.  Zahra loves looking at "her" puzzle and seeing all the names of the people who love her.

For those of you just starting out in the adoption process, maybe fundraising is daunting right now.  Let me just say.....God funds what he favors and there is no greater joy then walking in His promises.  Need more encouragement on this or maybe you're not sure about adoption?  Read a bit more here.

God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.  Psalm 68:6

I loved reading about this! We're thinking of starting this fundraiser next week. Can I ask how much you raised from it?
Thanks!

Absolutely Marissa! We raised over $5k with this fund raiser - each piece was $10 - it was a 500 piece puzzle, some donated more and only wanted one piece so we had more to sell and others donated anonymously. Let me know if you have any other questions. Congratulations on your journey!
