Join Me In Ethiopia This October!

I am SO excited about what God is doing and VERY excited to share the details of this next trip to Addis in October!

Below is all of the information about the trip, what we'll be doing. I am passionate about Ethiopia and supporting ministries that are already on the ground. Coming along side them and encouraging them, supporting them, and partnering with them. Sustainable ministries are key and so often people just don't know how to get involved. That's in part why we go. To learn, to experience, and to see where we might get involved.

Womens Advocate Trip To Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
October 17th - 24th, 2012

GOALS: The mission of this trip is to be a blessing to specific gospel centered ministries that are geared towards women and children. Through this there may be a ministry you want to be involved in, learn more about, or partner with. Being an advocacy geared trip the goal will be both a learning and experiencing process for you with the intent to come back and share with others about what God is doing in Ethiopia through these ministries. Our approach will be to support existing sustainable ministries making a lasting impact in Ethiopia both now and for the future.

We will be working with several different grass roots, sustainable, gospel centered ministries in Addis and the surrounding area. We will visit a womens beading project, a day care, an HIV community, a leper hospital, a family based orphan and widow ministry, and much more! There will be some sightseeing and shopping mixed in as well. Our days will be full and prayerfully hearts will be blessed. 

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27 

COST: The cost will be $1975 per person. This includes your airline tickets, (up to $1500) all lodging, travel insurance, transportation, meals, snacks, and drinks in country. Other costs to consider will be your visa ($20 if purchased in country), any shots you may not have for travel, food while in transit, and souvenir monies. 

FUNDRAISING: We will have a T-shirt design made up for personal fundraising purposes if you'd like.
This trip will be limited to ten. Below is the deposit/payment schedule. 

JUNE 1st - $100 Non-Refundable deposit due along with application (for our records).
JULY 1st - $500 due along with a copy of your passport photo page.  
AUG 1st - $975 due. Airline tickets will be purchased at this point.  
SEPTEMBER 1st - $400 remaining balance due.
