A few of my favorite things......

Picture me singing at the top of my lungs.......Sound of Music style. Okay wait....no don't. But anyways that is kind of how I'm feeling.

So onto my favorite things......(at least this week)

This little lady, sunshine, and a convertible. Good times for sure! I'll blog more later about our little trip and the Ms. Swift concert.
Friends.
Time with this little peanut.
Summer is my favorite season.....the fresh fruit/vegetables are the best - we've got our little herb/flower garden planted and that makes me completely happy.

Fage (pronounce Fa Yeh! I read the packaging) Greek Yogurt with a tablespoon of lemon curd and fresh blueberries. Seriously yummy. Its my new favorite treat. High in protein not too terrible for you and SO good! (please note I buy my Fage at Costco in bulk and my blueberries from Sams, also in bulk. If I ever find lemon curd in bulk I would buy that regularly too) Oh and one more note - I plan on making homemade lemon curd sometime this summer. Why? Because I can and how fun would that be to say I made my own lemon curd. Yep, I strive to impress.

The Pioneer Woman - For real - its one of my dreams to meet Ree, cook in her big huge kitchen, drink wine, and then maybe just maybe if I'm really good she'll let me ride a horse and go round up some cattle on the open range. Yeah, like I said....its a dream. In the meantime I'll dream and cook up some Sherried Tomato Soup or some of this delicious stuff! Now you know why I really planted that basil.

This post - today it's one of my favorite things. My sweet friend Stacy, adoption, big families, and BABIES!!! Read her post, pray for them, pray for their unborn baby girl, the birth mother, and the necessary funds that God will provide to make this miracle happen.

Ann Voskamp is one anointed woman. God has gifted her with an incredible way with words. She challenges me. If you haven't read 1000 Gifts I HIGHLY recommend it!

Last but not least....

Special K Pop Chips - A yummy snack - I make black bean/corn salsa to have on hand and these are AWESOME with it! You should try this recipe. :)
