Today my oldest child turned 14. Where has the time gone? I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. Her dad and I were babies ourselves. Just 19 and 20. Nichol was and still is our pride and joy. Watching David become a Daddy was something I'll never forget. He did everything with that baby. Nichol wanted for nothing, she was most happy in her daddy's arms, she was the easiest baby, rarely cried, slept perfectly, and was always happy. Her little 5 lb. self changed her daddy and I. We are so blessed to be her parents.

Nichol, we are SO proud of you. Proud of who you are, proud of how you love Jesus and others, proud of your dedication to our King, and excited to see you grow up even if it makes me a little teary to think about. We are honored to be your Mom and Dad and so grateful for you.
