Life Song for Orphans

I'm not sure I really did a whole post dedicated to this but I probably should have. Back in September we found out we had been given a $3,000 matching grant through The James Fund in conjunction with Lifesong for Orphans. Essentially that meant we were given the opportunity to raise $3,000 to be given $3,000 in matching funds to make a total of $6,000 towards our adoption expenses. We mailed out our first batch of letters and are gearing up to do another round with a little update.

We were given a goal date of November 9th to raise the funds, that's tomorrow. Lifesong of course will extend those dates as needed and have been really incredible throughout this process. We are humbled by what the Lord has provided so far yet we are still a bit short of hitting our goal.

We still need $1030.30 to make the $3,000 goal.

As of right now our incredible friends and family have donated over $1900 towards our referral fee! We are so incredibly blessed, humbled, and amazed by the generosity that has been poured out on us and our precious daughter. Thank you to each and every one of you that have been an integral part of helping to bring our sweet girl into her forever family.

For every donation made this week we will be doubling puzzle pieces in your name! So for every $10 you get two puzzle pieces! Just comment here or email me with what you want written on your piece!

Lifesong allows for both paypal donations as well as mail in donations.

All donations are tax deductible.

Note that donations are for Shubin #1512.
