Many Pieces Together Complete a Puzzle.

When we adopted Silas one family I saw did a fund raiser using a puzzle. I recently saw it again over here. (go check it out, theirs is complete and it's pretty amazing to see plus her poem is beautiful) Then just a couple weeks ago my friend Kim emailed me about this very fund raiser idea so I bought a puzzle. I love it. Not because of the fact that it will help with the financial side of bringing our daughter home but the symbolism it has. Each one of you that have donated, prayed, and emotionally supported us are already a part of the bigger picture, coming together to bring our daughter into her forever family. To complete this part of our family story. To change an orphans status to daughter, to unite a family.

For that reason it just seems fitting to kick off our referral fee fund raising with a puzzle. (we anticipate raising $8235 could take quite awhile!)

ALL of these funds raised will be used to enable us to say YES when we see our sweet girls face. We are so excited about the visual of putting each piece in place as we get closer and closer to referral.

A puzzle that will be put together with love by our family.

The Details:

We've purchased the puzzle below. A gorgeous work of art by Julia Cairns perfectly displaying the beauty of African culture. How adorable will that be hanging in our daughters room some day?

This is a 500 piece puzzle. We are inviting you to "sponsor" a piece (or more if you choose) of this puzzle for $10 and take part in bringing our precious girl home. With each piece sponsored we'll permanently write your name on the back and put that piece of the puzzle in place. A permanent reminder of the part you played in bringing our daughter home. Something for her to look at and see just how loved she was by so many people. But most importantly God's perfect plan for her precious life.

We'll keep everyone updated on the progress and take pictures as time goes by, each little step as this puzzle takes shape.

God sees the puzzle of your life,

Not as pieces, but as whole.

His mind is not confused or bent

By the turmoil in your soul.

For each piece is carefully fitted

Flawlessly filling every space.

A breathtakingly magnificent portrait

Of His glory, love and grace!
By Sarah M.

Once the puzzle is complete we'll have it framed in double sided glass so we can always see both sides of the puzzle and each of your names. Sharing that with our daughter someday warms my heart, watching as each of you share in helping to bring her home blesses us more then words could ever say.

Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
