Korah.

I know many of you asked when we returned from Africa back in January how you could help. Recently I read this post. You should read it to. The writer perfectly describes her experience in Korah just a few weeks ago, I found myself unable to write in such detail partly because it was unbelievable that people live that way but also because we had fallen in love with these people and to write about it in this way was difficult. We were so blessed to see the joy in the people of Korah despite their circumstances. That leveled me. Joy unspeakable because they knew the love of Jesus.

Jody writes eloquently, respectfully, raw, and in perfect detail what our team also experienced when we were there. She also talks about the child sponsorship program that is currently in place there. There are several people working among the precious people of Korah but Sumer is one of a kind. The Lord put Korah on her heart, watching her walk out that calling and moving her whole family to Ethiopia was amazing to watch. She and her family are being Jesus with skin on.

For more information on how you can get involved and sponsor a child or make a one time donation to the work that is going on in Korah please visit the Project 61 website www.p61.org or contact Erin Allen at erin@p61.org to see how $700 can feed, clothe, and educate a child for a full year. - All sponsorships are tax deductible.

Here is the post I wrote about our time in Korah. Read this here.

Here is the video my sweet husband put together from our trip. Our time in Korah and the City Dump is near the end. We also worked at Bright Hope School which is located in Korah as well.
