I had a blog post all ready to go linking to this blog. My auto post didn't work. However, that didn't keep me from praying to our King Jesus for an intervention on behalf of these girls. That didn't keep me from praying against injustice and it didn't keep my heart from pain all day long as I thought of my own two daughters. These girls are daughters. Daughters of someone. Loved by God yet in a tragic, horrible, awful situation. Something so wrong on so many levels. I weep at the thought of what these precious girls go through on a nightly basis. Sickening frankly.
The funds for the rescue discussed above has been raised. That is only the beginning. So many other girls are living this very same nightmare.
Will you join me in fighting against injustice? Will you join me in praying that these chains would be loosed and these girls would be rescued so they can begin the long process to healing? We may not be able to change the life of every girl but we CAN start somewhere.
Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?
Isaiah 58:6
