These two precious girls are going to Africa together!! I hadn't put much thought into the fact that my young daughter is going to AFRICA with one of her closest friends. Who gets to do that?!?! Not many. When I look at these two sweet young ladies I see the love of Jesus, the beauty of deep friendship in such a short period of time, and the blessing of friends. My hearts prayer is that these two bring home SO much more from Ethiopia then any lesson I or any parent could teach them. I pray the Lord impresses on their hearts a love for the orphan that sticks with them for a lifetime. I pray that I as a mom will be a facilitator of conversation as these two take in the poverty along with the beauty that is Ethiopia. Above all may God be glorified in and through the lives of these two amazing girls.

Tears already. Truly will be a bond they will share forever. Such a sweet gift from the Father. Praying, too, for Him to write a passion for the least on our kids' hearts in a way that only He can.
