This Mothers Day I can't help but think of my children. It's such an honor to be a mom to all five of my babies. The last few days I've been thinking of my youngest two children's birthmothers. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of them and the gift they've given me of parenting these two precious angels. Their birth moms gave them life, they loved them first, I get to love them too, and I get the joy and privilege of listening to their sweet voices call me mommy each and every day.
I'm blessed to have lots of "Moms" play a role in my life in my nearly 33 years. My mom, the one who brought me into this world and spent years raising me. Over the years there have been many women who have played a huge part in helping form who I am today. Part of that comes from moving all over the place for more then 1/2 my married life and part of that comes from women choosing to invest in my life. I am so grateful to each and every one of them.
My mom and I
Precious Barbara - this isn't the most flattering picture of me but it demonstrates what Barbara means to me so I'm posting it.
My sweet mother in law - a rock in my life - I'm so thankful for you!
Terry has been a "mom" to me since I was a teen. Her and Scott have played a valuable role in our young married lives. THANK YOU!
Happy Mother's Day to ALL of the Moms and Moms to be out there!
Love is patient; love is kind. Love is not jealous; is not proud; is not conceited; does not act foolishly; is not selfish; is not easily provoked to anger; keeps no record of wrongs; takes no pleasure in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth; love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. ~I Corinthians 13:4-7
