Update On Us.

I've abandoned my blog a wee bit since being here in country. We're completely enjoying our time and that's probably a large part of why. That said we're doing well, we don't have our sweet girl yet but hopefully we'll be taking custody soon. We were submitted to embassy yesterday and we're praying for a quick yet efficient process. David and I have had an amazing time as a couple just enjoying one another, this amazing country and lots of macchiato's! :) I've been able to work while here as well, not as efficiently but still quite well under the circumstances. Its an honor and a privilege to serve each one of my adopting families and mission teams.

We have felt so covered in prayer, so loved, and our kids back in the states are doing fantastic. Please continue to pray for our case, specifically for the US governments looming shut down. If that happens we'll be forced to make some difficult decisions. We trust that our God is bigger then all of this and His plan is perfect.

I know this is a boring post without pictures but I can't get them to load. Next post I'll have a friend add them for me. :) Thank you for covering us! Today is a big day for us here in Addis!

Erica!
I just found this awesome Verse of HOPE!!

"But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed." Habakkuk 2:3 (NLT)

Lord I pray for you to move! Amen.

Prayed for you tonight. I've been in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) this year, and we've been studying Isaiah. One of the lessons I've taken away from it so far is how sovereign our holy God is. We don't always know the solutions to our challenges, but He does, and that's so awesome. Thank you for sharing your story and your peace that comes from knowing our mighty God. It is an encouragement to me.
