Korah & Bright Hope School.

Last January my husband and I led a team exploring some different ministries and connections in Ethiopia. It was that trip where the Lord confirmed that we would be adopting sooner then later. It was the trip that introduced our oldest daughter to the country our family loves so deeply.

One of the projects we worked with was Bright Hope School. Bright Hope is one of our agencies humanitarian projects and it just seemed like the perfect fit. Bright Hope is in the Korah community. We also loved on the kids in Korah and that is where we met Sami. Our hearts were stolen by this community. Forever changed and we can't wait to go back.

When we were there we started digging the foundation for what is now one of three chicken coops at Bright Hope School. At the one minute mark in the first video you'll see some of the work we helped with there.

In this second video you'll see the progress through the eyes of the latest team that went from Journey Church! Pretty incredible at the transformation in just a year!
