Our God, the Great Provider.

I remember when we started the adoption process with Silas one of my biggest worries was about money - I recently wrote about that over here. Money always seems to be the biggest factor for people considering adoption. I read another post recently and I couldn't agree more. As we enter into the next phase of our fund raising I have to admit I get weary. It's a lot of work. If I lose focus on the one who owns it all, my King, my Savior, my redeemer I'm quickly panicked. BUT its not my job to worry about where the money will come from. HE already knows. He's got it figured out and He has it all under control. I choose to rest there.

I was reminded of just that today. Yes, TODAY. As I watched tonight our precious friends have ALL they need to pay their referral fee!! Yes in just FOUR days God provided in a BIG BIG way for the Walsers to be able to say YES to their precious daughter. They get to bring her home, to love her forever, and bring her into their family. God did all of that and in HIS perfect way. Never late, never early. Just right on time. That's our King!

Abby Girl your family (and a whole bunch of friends-that-will-be-like-family) can't wait for you to come home!
Glory to His name!!

This made my day for the Walsers!!! What a needed reminder, too, as you continue on your journey. The Lord is ever faithful and He will provide in His time! Hugs to you!!

Thankful that we press on in spite of our need, answering the call even when we are without the ability or resources to accomplish the task. This is when HE gets all the glory, all the credit for the provision. Not a fun place to be--humbling and pride swallowing-- but one of the sweetest places I've ever known.

Thankful for you, all your love, all your support for little Abby and our fam. I love you.

Thank you for this reminder. The past two days this has been a real concern of mine. We've decided to follow God's call and adopt TWO instead of the one we always thought we would. Needless to say this has added a bit of stress over the financial part. And lately we've also been worried about not getting the tax credit as we don't see how this can possibly be completed by Dec. 2010. But you're right, its HIS money and HE already knows how it'll work out. So I'm choosing today, to rest in HIM and HIS promises. THANK YOU for reminding me. And SO EXCITED for your friends!! GOD IS SO GOOD!

Thank you for posting about this.
Things are so stressful here with David's job, etc, I need to remind myself every 5 minutes that He is still on the throne, still large and in charge.
