FaceBook-A-Thon

Today marks our first face-book-a-thon fund raiser for our adoption!

Here's how it works.

I'll be posting a link to this blog post on facebook, our goal is to raise $2500 by this weekend to pay for our home study and the first fee to our adoption agency. There are two ways you can help. Donate directly through paypal (there is a link on the left hand side bar of my blog) anything helps, many hands make light work, or in this case every dollar adds up! You can also buy T-shirts, all proceeds from that purchase also go directly towards our adoption expenses. Read more about that HERE. (The available sizes/styles is also on the left side bar of my blog) If you would like to make a tax deductible donation you can also mail a check to our church, just be sure to note that it is for the Shubin adoption fund. You will receive a proof of donation letter at the end of the year.

Church Address:
LifeBridge Church
PO Box 520
Largo, FL 33779

This is a HUGE goal and we are aware of that. We know we serve a GREAT BIG God and HE will provide every penny in His perfect timing. We are so grateful for those of you who have said you are praying for us, supporting us, and loving us as we work to bring our daughter home. Nothing absolutely nothing is too big for our God!

Want to spread the word?!?! That would be AWESOME! If you can re-post on facebook or your blog that would be GREAT! Thank you all so much for your support!

For nothing will be impossible with God. Luke 1:37

I'm mailing a check today. Our envelopes are all packed up, but luckily we are headed over to my mom's house today so I'll "borrow" one from her. :) I never mail anything anymore!

Good Luck Erica!!! Sorry I couldn't give more, but taking all of our kids with us to Ethiopia really wiped out the old savings acct!!! Worth every penny though!!! :)

I love your perspective on how little $25,000 is when it is split 500 ways. I linked to it from my blog. www.giftsfromafar.blogspot.com
We are adopting from Ethiopia as well. Love the blog - I'll be checking in often...
