Family Snow Adventure!

I wrote this post awhile ago but hadn't added the pictures. Crazy how quickly time flies.
David and I decided with all his travels lately and me just returning from Ethiopia it was time for some quality family time. The recent snowfall in Flagstaff seemed like the perfect recipe for a family fun day.
We all got up before the sun and headed out with LOTS of clothes, plenty of snacks, good music, and the GPS. Good times. Here's our day in pictures.

Are we there yet?

All the kids LOVE the snow. So many people laugh at the thought of snow in Arizona but its true! Northern AZ gets quite a bit of snow. It reminds us of the great NW!

Snow ball fights, sledding, a picnic in the snow, and memories to last a lifetime.

We had an awesome time as a family. It was so very needed. The bigger kids said they want to learn how to ski next year. We can't wait!

Thanks for commenting on my blog! Nice to "meet" you too! I read that you adopted your son. That touches my heart. My husband and I want to adopt after we start a family.
