David and I are rejoicing today with our two oldest children! Two years ago Skyler told us he was ready to be baptized. Wanting to make sure he understood and was sure of this desicion we put it off. In hind sight we probably should have let him. Nichol decided she wanted to be baptized about six months ago. Today they were baptized together by their daddy and Pastor Todd. David has been studying with them, took them through a little baptism training, and talked extensively with them about this desicion. They are so excited to be able to follow Gods commands and obey. Its so surreal as a parent to watch your children take this huge step in their personal relationship with God. It brought tears to my eyes as these two kids boldly stepped forward to be baptized. Skyler so anxious he insisted on being first and loudly proclaimed YES he was ready. Way to go babies, mom and dad are SO proud of you!
You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
And of course some video and pictures. :)

Thank you Travis for video'ing for us!
Skyler was so excited to finally be able to be baptized.
Listening as Pastor Todd asking him if he believed Jesus was the son of God and that he died for his sins and has he accepted him as his Lord and Saviour. Skyler loudly proclaimed YES.
Down he goes!
Pastor Todd prays.
Nichols turn, she says the water is FREEZING!
Proclaiming her faith in Jesus Christ.
Her turn to be dipped.
Daddy prays.
A beautiful day for a beautiful step in their walk with our amazing Jesus.

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.
