Since Silas has been home he's decided ice cream isn't as bad as he thought it was initially. He's grown two inches, still eats a minimum of two bananas and a yogurt each day, he's also decided that the Cars movie is his very favorite and there should be no other movie allowed. Ever. He likes it so much that its even worth not going to the bathroom when he needs to pee. (he's going to love that I've shared this with the world one day, I just know it) The great outdoors is still where he would love to be 24/7. Silas still loves the phone and would talk to "Chammy" or "Sarrrrrrrah" all day if I'd let him.
Silas is completely head over heals in love with his big brother Skyler. I think that has been one of our greatest joys in bringing Silas home is watching the bond between our two boys. The way Skyler dotes on his brother, the language of brotherly love that came so easily between them is absolutely something only God could ordain. Skyler is so proud to finally have a little brother. Silas seems pretty smitten with the arrangement as well.
Silas loves his sisters too. They love to cuddle with him, get him whatever he might need, read with him and make sure we know what he needs, they are so nurturing, I love watching them. Its amazing to me the instincts God puts in girls even at such a young age. So caring and loving.
Thank you heavenly Father for entrusting Silas to us, for blessing us with this little person, we are so thankful to have him in our family.

his smile lights up my screen ... when we brought Maggie home she just gravitated to my oldest son and she stills runs to him everyday when he gets home for school ... the capacity a child has to love is amazing !!!
